3 EASY WAYS TO REDUCE THE STRESS YOU GET FROM EMFS

Do you ever feel like you get stressed out super easily? Chest tight, heart pounding, body overheating – you’ve tried everything to de-stress, but you feel like your body is in ‘fight or flight’ mode. Does this sound like you? I’ve been there too, and one of my silent stressors was electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs). You see, EMFs can actually increase stress on your nervous system1. It wasn’t until I figured out 3 easy ways to protect my body from the effects of EMFs and stress through castor oil liver packs, sleep hygiene mask and my Harmoni Pendant that I understood the impact EMFs were having on me.

Could EMFs be putting more stress on your body without you knowing?

EMFs are all around us, wherever there is electricity or wires, cell phones or cell phone towers. The closer that you are to the power towers, wires, or cellphone towers etc, the more you may notice an impact on your bodyif you’re sensitive (not everyone is). But if you are, you notice it greatly. Even if you’re not sensitive and may not be FEELING the effects, there are still things happening deep down inside that are negatively impacting your life.

You’re an energetic being, you have a frequency, a vibration – just as everything does. So imagine it like this; if the ground is vibrating underneath you, like in an earthquake, you’re going to vibrate too!

Therefore, EMFs can exacerbate:

  • Fatigue
  • Problems sleeping
  • Headaches and pain
  • Brain fog

Do any of these sound like you? That was me too. All of these are signs of excess stress on your body.

The more stress that’s on your nervous system, the harder it is for you to recover from the negative effects of EMFs and radiation.

This isn’t when I tell you I moved to the country, changed to dial-up internet and got rid of my microwave. I didn’t do any of those things, I found easy ways to make my body more resilient, so that silent stressors didn’t keep me trapped in that dreadful ‘fight or flight’ mode.

I was so in the know about how EMFs were adding stress on my body that when I found the location for my clinic, I mapped out all the nearest energy towers and cell phone towers and made sure to stay 1-3 km away. I also don’t have Wifi internet at my clinic.

It’s one of the reasons that my clinical space is such a sanctuary, it has good vibes that aren’t corrupted by dirty electricity. At home, in the evening, I shut down the Wifi. I actually have it on a timer, that way it helps my family and I feel more at peace while we’re sleeping.

3 Ways You Can Protect your Nervous System from EMF Stress

The 3 top tools that helped me overcome stress and anxiety caused from EMFs were these:

1. Castor Oil Liver Packs To Balance your Stress Hormones

Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Liver Packs Balance Stress Hormones

Tension and stress inhibits our bodies’ natural ability to have a bowel movement, keep calm and sleep, and added EMF stress certainly doesn’t help these things.

The ancient health practice of Castor Oil Liver Packs set the foundation for better health, better stools, better sleep and LESS stress.

The soft compression of the castor oil liver pack on the skin helps you to:

  • Balance your stress hormones.
  • Naturally move your body into its ‘rest and digest’ state.
  • Promotes the production of your feel-good hormone dopamine2, as well as oxytocin3, the ‘love’ hormone.

2. A Sleep Mask To Help you Relax as you fall asleep

Queen of The Thrones® Sleep Mask Help you Fall Asleep

Wearing a white sleep mask to bed balances your natural day and night hormonal rhythms and increases melatonin4, which helps you get better sleep and have more resistance against dirty electricity. Sounds like a win-win, right?

Since I usually only wear my Castor Oil Pack™ and my Sleep Eye Mask overnight, I also found this amazing tool that has been shown to reduce the impact of the EMFs all day long.

3. Wearing The Harmoni Pendant to Protect you from EMFs

Harmoni Pendant Protects from EMFs

My great friend Wendy Myers, one of the world’s leading experts in stress therapy & detoxification, created a beautiful piece of jewelry that actually protects you from EMFs and it’s on sale right now for up to 53% off!

The Harmoni Pendant was designed to harmonize the body’s natural electrical frequencies and energetic pathways and is proven to lift your central nervous system out of fight or flight mode.

Wearing an EMF protection device, like a Harmoni Pendant, is the easiest way to shield yourself, your family, and your loved ones.

Similar to the Castor Oil Pack and sleep hygiene mask, these pendants are easy to put on everyday without having to change your life and they’re beautiful, too!

2 Holiday Health Hacks to Digest Better, Bloat Less, & Stress Less This Holiday Season

Ohh, the holidays. This year is going to look a lot different than it ever has before. I find myself reminiscing on past holidays. Honestly, for me, the holiday season used to be like one of those Instagram vs. Reality moments…

I’d expect Thanksgiving to be relaxing: I’d think of a perfectly juicy seasoned turkey with tangy cranberry sauce. Granny’s legendary stuffing. Of course, a variety of scrumptious pies… I’d imagine myself effortlessly prepping for the big day – like that scene in Snow White where she dances around her kitchen with the help of all the cute forest animals.

But in reality, I’d become a bucket of stress. Running from here to there, like a turkey with its head off, simply trying to get the Thanksgiving turkey on the table! And that delicious, mouth watering dinner I dreamed of… It would taste amazing going down, but 20 minutes later it had me bloating out like I was 6 months pregnant… Only to end up passing out on Granny’s couch in a food-coma… And having toilet troubles for the next week…

Does this sound familiar?

Squash Holiday Stress

The holiday season can be stressful. It’s usually a busy time filled with lots of events, decorating, cooking, cleaning, shopping… the list goes on. This year will be different, and it will be stressful for different reasons.

For those of us with digestive issues, this stress, mixed in with potentially eating foods that we aren’t used to, can lead to uncomfortable bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Feeling crappy only leads to more stress, further aggravating these symptoms. It’s a vicious cycle.

As a naturopathic doctor who has struggled with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) for the greater part of my life, I’ve learned how to breeze through the holidays, stress-free, with only the occasional flare-up if I overindulge.

Here I’m going to divulge two simple, fool-proof holiday health hacks I’ve cultivated to support the body through the Thanksgiving season.

Holiday Health Hack #1: The Castor Oil Pack

Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Packs for liver detox and improve digestion
The Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Pack™ Compress

For me, and all of my patients, Castor Oil Packs are non-negotiable. In fact, a daily castor oil pack practice is the very first thing that I get all of my patients to do. Why?

First and foremost, Castor Oil Packs help to keep our stress response balanced. The soft compression of the organic pack against the skin helps to move our body from the stressed-out state into the relaxed state1. It also promotes hormones that make us feel good, like oxytocin2 (A.K.A. the love hormone) and dopamine3.

They help regulate bowel movements by improving smooth muscle tone of the digestive tract4, and they’ve been shown to alleviate constipation just as well as laxatives – but without negative side effects5

Castor Oil Packs help you beat the bloat when worn over the liver/tummy, by reducing inflammation6 in your core. They also improve the balance of the bugs in your gut (A.K.A. your microbiome) by breaking down biofilm7 8 9, leading to better absorption of nutrients and less gas!

Plus they help us detox by providing antioxidants like nitric oxide10, glutathione11, vitamin E and omegas12. Castor oil packs are especially helpful to wear overnight if you have a few alcoholic drinks… hasta la vista hangover!

In a nutshell, castor oil packs support the foundations of our health and healing – helping us poop better, sleep better, digest better, cleanse better, bloat less and stress less. This why they’re my #1 Holiday Health Hack.

The Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Pack™ Bundle

The Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Pack™ takes less than 2 minutes to prepare and ties onto your body, so you can wear it while you do all of your holiday prep work – cooking, cleaning, facetiming your family, you name it. Even better, you can wear it to bed and let it work it’s magic while you dream. My patients say it helps them sleep like a baby!

Do your castor oil pack every day for at least 1 hour to get the most benefit. As with anything, consistency is key!

Holiday Health Hack #2: Avoid Your Food Sensitivities

Food, food – glorious, delectable, irresistible food! A focal point of the holiday season and something that we all look forward to. But if you have digestive issues, it can often be a source of anxiety.

I remember thinking to myself before holiday dinners, “Will there be food options that don’t upset my tummy?”, “Will there be a bathroom close by if I have an emergency?”, “Is this dress too tight for my inevitable post-dinner food baby?”

Queen of the Thrones Food Empowerment Kit to overcome food sensitivities
Food sensitivities can increase during holidays

How do you know if you have food sensitivities? Well, it’s simple… Each of us has unique sensitivities to certain foods, sometimes even healthy ones! (For me it was broccoli, kale, almonds, and rice!) Reactions to eating a food sensitivity can be difficult to pin down, because they can take up to 72 hours to manifest and symptoms can appear anywhere in the body.

Foggy brain, weight gain, fatigue, the confusion of “is this really caused by my thyroid?”. The shame of feeling like you always need to cover up because of your skin irritations. The pressure on your chest & sleepless nights; your mind rapidly flipping between “Am I feeling this way because of something I ate or do I have an undiagnosed disease!?”

All of these symptoms can easily be triggered by food sensitivities. But where do we draw the line between symptoms of disease & symptoms of food sensitivities? Right here! If you don’t know what your personal food sensitivities are, you can use the 5 natural at-home techniques for revealing your food sensitivities that I share in the Queen of the Thrones® Food Empowerment Kit.

The best thing to do is avoid your food sensitivities. When I attend holiday dinners I always make sure to bring some holiday dishes of my own that are free from my food sensitivities, that way I know I’ll have some healthy choices that don’t upset my tummy.

To be proactive, don’t forget to wear your Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Pack™ daily. With regular use, castor oil packs help your body to become more resilient – so if you do eat something that doesn’t agree with you – they will help you bounce back better and more quickly! In acute situations of indigestion and bloating, they feel like a great big hug for your belly and immediately help you to relax.

This year, we won’t have the luxury of large holiday gatherings with friends and family. But that doesn’t mean we can’t do something special!! Find out what your food sensitivities are (learn how with the Food Empowerment Kit) then throw on your castor oil pack and whip up some delicious holiday dishes.

Don’t Forget The Love!

Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Packs a health alternative for the family
Enjoy your holiday season with your family and good health

These Holiday Health Hacks will help you waltz through the holidays with less stress. And always remember, at the heart of the holiday season is love. It is a time to gather together with the people we care about (whether it be physically or virtually), creating meaningful memories and showing our gratitude toward one another.

Try to infuse love into everything you do this holiday season, it’s the best gift you can give to yourself and those around you! Happy, Healthy Thanksgiving!

Quick Fix for Better Sleep and Tired Eyes | Nightly Castor Oil Beauty Routine

Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil™ help you improve your Sleep

You know the saying, “there’s plenty of time to sleep when I’m dead”? I used to use this as an excuse to justify my erratic sleeping habits. When I was in naturopathic college I would stay up all hours of the night studying, or working late hours as a waitress to pay the bills. Coffee was literally my lifeline – if I couldn’t have it, I couldn’t make it through the day. Period. Does this sound familiar?

I would be foggy and groggy in the mornings, trudging around like a zombie until I had my cup of Joe. Then in the evenings, it seemed as soon as the sun went down I had a miraculous bout of energy that wouldn’t allow me to fall asleep. So I’d toss and turn, becoming tangled up in my sheets worse than an old telephone cord! I came to dread those long, desperate hours, feeling so exhausted but unable to drift off into Dreamland.

That’s when I learned about the simplest of sleep practices that totally changed the game for me. Gracias a Dios!

Eye Masks for Better Sleep

I learned that wearing the Beauty Sleep Brow & Lash Kit™ to bed helps us get a deeper, more restful sleep. The eye mask blocks out all light and promotes melatonin production1 in the body; our sleep regulating hormone!

The soft compression of the eye mask over the face also supports hormones that makes us feel all warm and fuzzy and relaxed, like oxytocin2 and dopamine3

Queen of the Thrones® Eye Mask to sleep better

I was absolutely blown away by how much this simple practice helped me sleep.

Castor Oil for Beauty Sleep

Around this time was when I began falling in love with castor oil and castor oil packs. Through research, I quickly learned that castor oil was a beauty staple in Egyptian and Greek cultures, and that Cleopatra herself used it to enhance her eyes. I found that castor oil was commonly used as a treatment to help eyelashes and eyebrows grow, and found it in the ingredient list of dozens of lash growth serums.

Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil™ help eyelashes and eyebrows grow

This makes total sense! Castor oil improves circulation to where it is applied via nitric oxide stimulation4, so when applied to the lashes and brows it ensures that the hair follicle is getting a good blood supply. Castor oil is also anti-inflammatory5 and provides nourishment for the skin and hair follicle like vitamin E, polyphenols and omegas6. It’s antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant.

These properties also make it the perfect anti-wrinkle eye cream. The oil is exceptionally emollient and nourishing for the delicate skin around the eyes and can help with dark circles, puffiness, redness and fine lines.

Watch this video below of my friend Kitty Martone and I talking about our Nightly Castor Oil Routine, including how to do a castor oil face wash!

Is Castor Oil Safe Near the Eyes?

There is a wealth of research supporting the use of castor oil in the eye as a treatment for dry eyes7 8 9  and prevention of cataracts10. In a study done on rat lenses, castor oil was shown to preserve levels of glutathione exceptionally well11 (glutathione is one of our most powerful antioxidants!).

So castor oil is 100% safe and even beneficial to use in/around the eyes. This made me adore it even more because we have to be so careful with the products we use around our eyes – always read ingredients carefully!

Pair It With Your Castor Oil Pack

The most important part of my nightly castor oil sleep routine is putting on my Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Pack™ It immediately relaxes the nervous system1213, getting it ready for a deep night’s sleep.

Quality of Castor Oil

I just want to quickly note that not all castor oil is created equally. You want to use the best quality, especially when using it near the eyes. Castor oil should be certified organic, cold-pressed, 100% pure, hexane-free, extra virgin and ALWAYS packaged in a glass bottle. If you have castor oil in a plastic bottle, throw it away! Castor oil can absorb toxins and there are many compounds in plastic such as nonylphenol14 and benzophenones15 that can mess with our hormones, immune and nervous systems. Queen of the Thrones® promises the highest-grade Castor Oil™ for the thousands of ways you can use this healing oil.

Queen of the Thrones® Beauty Sleep Eye Kit™ reduce wrinkles and improve your sleep

Sweet Dreams, Sleeping Beauty!

So this became my bedtime routine. I dab a little bit of castor oil in the palm of my hand and apply it to my lashes and brows with an applicator brush. Then I dab the excess oil around my eyes, put on my organic cotton eye mask and crawl into bed, easily drifting and dancing off into Dreamland.

I’ve never slept better in my life, and I’m always being complimented on my bright, beautiful eyes!

Get your Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil Pack™ and Beauty Sleep Eye Kit™ together in a bundle that I like to call The Genesis Cleanse™ with special bonuses!
